This is a plant-based candle made from 100% Japanese rice bran wax. Rice bran wax is harder than other waxes conventionally used for candles, thus lasts substantially longer.
These rice bran wax candles are perfect for use in dinning scenes as they last for a very long time. Thanks to the natural material, the candles also produce less soot and smell.
Made by DAIYO - a family owned candle business located in Takashima, Japan. Utilizing 100% local and natural plant wax, their artisans have been meticulously crafting all of their candles by hand since 1914.
Tips When Extinguishing the Flame: Use a pair of tweezers to clip the wick and sink it into the pool of melted wax. Ensure the flame is extinguished before putting the wick upright again. This makes it possible to extinguish the flame without producing smoke!
