Coconut Coir pots (made from Coconut husks) are an environmentally friendly alternative to peat or plastic pots.  They can be used for seed starting or to root plant cuttings. When your seedling or cutting needs more room to grow, you can plant the entire Coco Coir pot into a larger pot or directly into your garden soil.  The Coconut coir is completely biodegradable so as roots develop, they eventually grow right through the pot wall and help to avoid transplant shock.
