We've partnered with Ananas Anam, the creators of Piñatex^® to create these multi-functional Plant Coasters.  Piñatex^® is a natural, non-woven material made from pineapple fibers.  Our Coasters were created using 2 layers of Piñatex^®,  with the intent to be used as a mat to place your houseplants on top of.  They protect your table from both scratches and water rings. 

Pair with our PLANT POTS as shown in images - Available in sizes 3" / 4" / 5" 

BONUS: doubles as a coaster / trivet for cups and hot pots / dishes.

Coasters were laser cut in Los Angeles and sewn in Durham, North Carolina. 

About Piñatex^® 

This responsibly-sourced, cruelty-free and vegan material is a by-product of the agricultural industry. Pineapple leaves are the waste product that are burnt or thrown away after a pineapple harvest in the Philippines. In order to create this material, the leaves are collected, fibers are extracted and then go through a rigorous cleaning process and finally manufactured into a non-woven substrate.
