Japanese Single Prong Root Hook

This root hook can be used to clean and untangle your plant roots when re-potting.  Loosening your plant roots is extremely important, especially if your plant is pot bound (roots are trapped in a small container and strangling each other!)

Detangling and loosening up the roots before re-potting will allow the roots to spread out and continue to grow in all directions. The curved prong on this root hook allows you to carefully untangle the roots, which is less traumatic to your plant than using a knife or scissors.
